The creative period of sculpture Milan Vojsk was rather short, limited to merely two decades that are separated by the artist’s decision to emigrate. It comprises classic figural motives and the portrait, joint in his later creative stage by the monumental sculptures with religious motives. Despite of seeming non-consistency his creative path shows a passage from academic realism to abstraction. By available exhibits, photographs of works that were created in Australia and the catalogue, UGM tried to put together until now fragmented pieces of the sculptor’s opus into a whole. This catalogue comprises the description of artist’s life and artistic development, photographic reproductions of artworks as well as the review of exhibitions, bibliography and a catalogue of works.
