Wisdom Hours are for older adults who want to gain new knowledge, experience and contacts. On two Tuesdays a month, we invite you to creative gatherings at the UGM exhibitions and UGM Studio. At these events we learn about 20th and 21st century art by both Slovenian and foreign artists. In direct contact with the artworks, we analyse them and look for aesthetic messages in them. Above all, art is a stimulus for dialogue, in which we exchange views, ideas, memories...
In good weather, we invite you to take a walk around the city centre, where we will present you art in public space: monuments to famous personalities, the National Liberation Monument, older and contemporary art monuments ...
You do not need a background in fine art or art history to participate in the Blue Lessons. The programme is based on relaxed socialising in the inspiring environment of an art museum.
