You are invited to spend the Happy day of Culture, when we celebrate the birthday of France Prešeren, in our company. This year we have prepared free online events for you. We will take you through our current exhibitions 100+ Highlights from the UGM Collection in UGM and Tanja Lažetić / Flowers in UGM Studio. Children, parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles and others will be able to join the intergenerational online creative workshop. There is also a treasure hunt on our Instagram page all day!

100+ Highlights from the UGM Collection / online live guided tour

Join us for a short live guided tour to the current exhibition 100+ Highlights from the UGM Collection through our Instagram page. After the exhibition, you will be taken in about fifteen minutes by a professional colleague Urša Rotman. In just a few minutes, we will walk through historical periods from the end of the 19th century to the beginning of the 21st century. We hope that you will wish to visit us live as soon as possible, when the situation will allow it again.
Flowers / online live guided tour

Join us on a short live guided tour through the exhibition Tanja Lažetić / Flowers through our Instagram page. The exhibition was set up just before the closure of the museums and galleries, so the management will be the premiere presentation of the exhibition. Curator Jure Kirbiš will take you through it in about ten minutes.

We invite children and parents to a live art workshop online. At the workshop, under the guidance of curator and pedagogue Brigita Strnad, we will get to know moving works of art, such as Aquamobile by the artist Slavko Tihec. We will make our own moving sculptures and conjure up a festive atmosphere at home with them. Access the online family creative here.
UGM treasure hunt on Instagram

On the Happy Day of Culture, join us on our Instagram page on a treasure hunt! The winners of the hunt will receive a treasure: two free tickets, a badge and a bag with a UGM mascot motif of the Severe Ant, a UGM pencil and a set of postcards with motifs from the UGM Collection.
To participate in the draw on our Instagram page, find the three motifs published below and write your favorite emoji in the comments below them. Among those who will find all three motifs, we will draw three treasure winners tomorrow. The treasure hunt only takes place today, 3 December 2020, until midnight.
